If you are referring to changing the initial post, that was like in 2002, no?!?
I think after an hour from your latest post, you cannot modify it anymore (unless I am misunderstanding something here).
You would have to get in touch with an admin with regards to this I would think (but I have been known to be wrong before... a lot).
EDIT: Ah.. you are probably thinking along the lines of tip #7:
EDIT your posts! This forum allows you to edit your posts indefinitely
I don't think this applies anymore.. as mentioned, I think there is an hour of grace (or something like that).

I'm not sure if there is a minimum post count or not, but I do know that there is a maximum time after posting it (something like an hour, maybe half an hour?), past which only a moderator can edit it.
