    I had 2 d'oh! moments today-
    1) I come in and I have an email from one of my e-commerce clients wondering why she hadn't received any orders in the past 10 business days. I investigate and see that there were 23 orders waiting to be filled & that it wasn't connecting to the database. Woops, sorry about that.

    2) I go to write a check and realize I don't have my driver's license, and as I'm frantically trying to figure out where it might be I realize that I had gone to Kinko's to make some copies the day before and had to make a copy of my driver's license and Social Security Card... and yep, you guessed it- I left them both on the glass of the copy machine. Talk about identity theft- how about just handing it to someone?!

I'm blaming my oversight on the fact that I was flustered at the time because I had to pay for my 8 cent copy with a debit card as I had forgotten to bring any cash with me.

I think I'm coming down with a case of HUA syndrome- anyone else familiar with this?

I called and they said they still had them there, so I'm on my way... I'm sure everyone's made fun of my picture by now LOL. Good idea about the birth certificate It's good to be thorough.

Dealing with a Government Department one day (which shall remain nameless - partly because they change their name every twelve months or so) I got monumentally fed up with being told yet again to supply proof of ID.

I took the form back, signed it, grabbed a stapler off the poor bureaucrat's desk, fired a staple into my thumb and pressed it to the form.

"There: signature, thumbprint and DNA sample! Anything more you need?"

    ahhhh.......

i think weed is all talk, i would like weed to make a DNA file upload that will check it against a FBI database to make sure that staple was really the one that went through his little pinky

on a lighter note, in 3rd grade i tricked a kid into stapling his toungue to a piece of paper

weed, there ARE nicer ways to make a DNA sample available (takes longer than a staple)

OMG - LMAO. I think that might present several legal problems for weed, however.
In general, I believe that practice is frowned upon in public places.

Ah, but of course Piers... that's way too provocative for the commoner.
