    Looks like you will need to use DOM functions which I am not really familiar with.

    Sorry to light fire to an old post. But the original post was awesome and exactly what I was looking for. However, does anyone know if there is a way to pull PAST weather xml from NOAA?

    Blast from the past ... I couldn't easily find searchable archive NOAA data; I was only able to find data a few days old.

    If you can find the data, I can help you munge it.
