    problem with IE10

    I am trying to make a picture gallery on a LAMP structure website. There are about 15,000 records in the mysql database and nearly equal number of pictures in folders. My php code is placed in the main content panel of an HTML5 template I'm using. The php searches the database for records matching my criteria, locates corresponding pictures, and outputs a gallery of pictures with captions. It works beautifully in Firefox 18.0.2 but the pics are not resized in IE10. How do I get this to work in IE??? php 5.2.17 mysql 5.5.30

    Code:

    function alert($alert) {
     $out .='<script type="text/javascript">
       alert("'.$alert.'");
       </script>
       ';

    print $out;

     }

    $imgpath="http://www.mywebsite/";

    mysql_connect("localhost", "usrname", "pswd") or die(mysql_error());

    mysql_select_db("dbname") or die(mysql_error());

    $sql = "SELECT * FROM `mytable` WHERE approve!='TRUE' ORDER BY `Bloom_Name` ASC";
    $results = mysql_query($sql);
    $column = 1;

    echo "<table>";

    while(($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($results)) !== false) {
    	$bloom=trim(ucwords($row['Bloom_Name']));
    	$path=substr($bloom,0,1)."/";
    	if ($column == 1) {
    		print "<tr>";
    	}

    	echo '

    	           <td>

    	           <a href="http://www.mywebsite/RgPndg.php?search=' . $row['Bloom_Name'] . '">

    	           <br>
    			<img src="'.$imgpath.$path.$bloom.'.jpg" height="130" width="130" alt="" >
    			</a>'.$bloom.'</td>';

    	if ($column == 6) {
    		echo "</tr>";
    		$column = 0;
    	}

    	$column++;
    }

    if ($column < 5) {
    	while ($column < 5) {
    		$column++;
    		echo "
    			<td>&nbsp;</td>";
    	}

    	echo "</tr>";
    }

    echo "</table>";
    ?>

    Thread moved to ClientSide Technologies forum (since this has nothing to do with PHP).
