    URL manipulation

I have a URL with sometimes multiple conditions in them. for example

    index.php
    index.php?A=ABC
    index.php?A=ABC&B=ABC

What I want to be able to do is remove one of these conditions, say in example 3 I want to remove condion A=ABC - how can I do this?

You may find parse_str() to be useful, too.
