getting browser ns or ie

hi.. i am looking for an easy way to determine if te visitor of my page is using an ie browser or an other(doesnt matter wich one)

please tell me there is a simple solution for this 🙂

i tried the get_browser function but it returns a lot of data into an object and i dont know how to use it.

You might try something simple like this:

if (strpos($HTTP_USER_AGENT, "zilla") == 0)

{ echo "Using IE"; }

else { echo "Using Netscape"; }

had to change it to this though coz both agents are mozilla 🙂
