domXML functions?

Hi all.

I've compiled in the domxml functions into my php4.0.1, and want to test it out - but the documentation is mediocre.

Has anyone got a clue of how to the extention?

the formatting isnt easy to read, but it actually shows the api...

OK, I got the documentation. but it shows more functions than I'm showing are available in php4.0.2 with its /ext/domxml package. Specifically:

attrname
lastchild
parent
rootnew

however, they appear to be in php4 when i do a "strings" on the php4xx.so file. they appear as php_if_domxml_attributes, etc.

Whats the story on this? Also, when there are functions like getattr AND php_if_domxml_getattr; which one should be used or are they one and the same?
