Hi all,

I am building a guest book. In each page, I want to display only 20 comments a page and using next page function to display another 20 comments. Does anybody know how to do that? It is using any thread to handle it?

If your comments are stored in a file:

-You could make a copy of your file (so you never lose your comments)

-Only display the first 20 comments (using a counter)

-Copy the rest of the file (remaining comments) to another file

-rename this file to same as before.

create your link to the next 20.

-lather, rinse, repeat...until EOF

Give me an idea of how your comments are stored, and I could give you a few snippets to help!

Hi!! Look... I don't think using files for storing the comments is the best way. Take a look at Rod Kreisler's "Building Next/Prev Buttons for Query Results" Column at PHP Builder!!! =)
