mail headers

i have been able to use the mail() function successfully, however i have not been able to get it to send e-mails via 'cc:' and 'bcc:'.

for example, if i send an e-mail to myself and add 'cc: [e-mail]' and 'bcc: [e-mail]' to the header, the 'cc:' and 'bcc:' emails never get sent. when i receive the email, however, i see that the 'cc:' and 'bcc:' fields have been added to the header.

is there something else i need to do? has anyone else encountered this? i would greatly appreciate any input/hints/ideas.

I don't think that cc and bcc are available in the mail function. You would just have to add multiple addresses to send. That would be my guess, anyway.

Just add the addresses you want to send to, you don't need cc

Cc and Bcc are available, so:

mail( $to, $subj, $mess, "Cc: [e-mail]\nBcc: [e-mail], [e-mail]\n" );
