Sessions and frames

I'm having some trouble tracking users with sessions on my web site. I have a bunch of frames (about a dozen), and I've noticed that most of them end up with one PHPSESSID value, while a couple others get their own value.

What do I need to do to insure that all frames get the same PHPSESSID?

I think I found my problem. The frame PHPSESSID values diverge when I link to an absolute path:

<A HREF="http://www.host.com/dir/file.php?PHPSESSID=$PHPSESSID&...>

Should this work?
