you have to add
<?php } ?>
to the end of the function!

hint: if you get a parse error on the last line, the closing } is missing in most of the cases!

Which OS, php-version and web-server are you running?

OS=Windows 98
php version php-3.0.16-win32.zip
Web Server = apache_1_3_9_win32.exe
i have made the changes in httpd.conf file and also in php3.ini and placed php3.ini in windows directory as stated in manual. Apache is working, just showing unclean shut down(http.pid file overwritten)
but can not run php3 file

well, i never tried running php at such a system.

what does go wrong? does it show only the source-code or is there any other error message?

try the following first:
download the newest php-version (php4 rc2), install it as mentioned in the manual. try running the php_info(); function.

if this does not work, post the exact error message and describe what you did before...

I'm getting a similar error -
Fatal error: Unable to open e:\InetPub\wwwroot/support/do_sendfeedback.php3 in - on line 0
No input file specified.

I'm on NT 4.0, web server IIS 4.0, php3

I've made and html page (feedback form)(http://www.skyva.com/support/show_feedback.html) that ends with a submit button.

When you click submit it brings up the php file (http://www.skyva.com/support/do_sendfeedback.php3) which should say thanks (to user) but instead the error message above appears. Also using external mail server.

Please also make sure that the both files are lying in the same directory.
