Refreshing

I have a page that is separtated by two frames. One frame is location across the top while the other frame takes the rest of the page, now what i'm trying to do is when the lower frame is reloaded i would like it to refresh the top frame also. For example if i click on a link that changes the bottom frame i would like the top frame to refresh, if i click on another link to change the bottom frame again i would like the top frame to refresh. Hope this makes sence. I was trying to use the location.reload() javascript but i wasn't sure how to use it and i notice that php doesn't have much with that.

You're going to need to create a new file that loads the frames and call to that page from the anchor tag. Perhaps you can pass the variables for the file in PHP, but JavaScript will be difficult to implement.

Is there anything easier? I'm trying to put this feature into a already existant webpage that has over 50 pages within it, me doing that would take alot of time going to each page and changing it. I was looking for something simple if it's out there.

There is nothing easier than that. Perhaps you can create one PHP script that takes in 2 vars: the 2 pages.

Create a PHP based frameset page that takes variables from the link to specify the frames. Does that make sense??
