I need to create a forum site which will display a thread as the are displayed on this site here.
I've written a small class with a recursive algorythim for this and have no problem getting them in the right order and determening the horizontal depth of the current thread.
But I am absolutely clueless when it comes to putting the RIGHT icon(s) in place.
My table does not store the thread root id, only it's own idea and of course the id of its immediate parent.
So Tim how do you do it?
