Whenever I try to copy or rename a file from my hard drive to a new filename in a web site directory, I get the following message. I've already used stripslashes and it does what it's supposed to do but the file is still not recognized. I'm using a form to upload a photo like they have at sites like Amazon.com.
Warning: Rename failed (No such file or directory)
Be more specific. What's the filename?

the new file name is http://www.artlovers.cc/images/$newName. The problem is that it doesn\\\\'t think that either the images directory or the new file name exists. It has no problem with the source file just with the destination.
You might want to check permissions of your server configuration. I cannot help you any further with that, I'm afraid, because the config differs on each server. I only know I got it workin' that way.
