Hiding Multiple Mail recipients.

Say I have a large mailing list, how do I use the PHP mail() command so that all the recipients email addresses don't show up int the To: field in the users email client.

I'd like it to say something like "Recipient list hidden";

You would use the Bcc-header (blind carbon copy) for sending mail to a (hidden) list of people.

According to the (PHP3) manual, extra headers can be specified in an optional fourth string argument to mail(). E.g.:

mail("Recipient list hidden", $subject, $message, "Bcc: $recipient_list");

I haven't tried it, but it should work 😉

Thanks but I got it all figured out. I am using a feaure of my mail server....
