settings for read ?

umm... well... i just got into php yesterday and i'm faced with a thrilling dillema: i can't write to a file on my server; i can read from it with no problem, but when i try to write to it, it just bloody tells me "permission denied on $somescript at $someline" which is quite annoying .. really 😉 so... if you could just tell me what i have to do to get it to read, i would appreciate it 😉 thanks 😉

Simply set the permissions on your file so that "nobody" (or whatever your web server runs as) is able to write to it (just do a chmod or chgrp on it).
