crypt() ERROR!!!

i've downloaded the
php_crypt.dll
from
http://download.swwwing.com/php4/modules/
and i modified php3.ini by uncomment
the extenstion php_crypt.dll

and i tried to run my script which contains
the crypt function but it gave me the same
error as before adding that file

Fatal error: Call to unsupported or undefined function crypt() in c:/windows/desktop/chat/chatlogin.php on line 13

I had the same problem. Perhaps the PHP community has not ported the php_crypt.dll to PHP4 yet.

just wondering if you have figured out whats wrong with php_crypt.dll yet?
