Why does know want to help me on this topic. I have been trying to figure out regular expressions for days without any luck. Can someone please help me out here.
What I am doing is opening an html doc reading for table tags and replacing those tags via this ereg
$string3 = ereg_replace("/(<)(table)(\s|\S|[a-zA-Z0-9])*(>)/", "<TABLE CELLSPACING=0 BORDER=0 CELLPADDING=7 WIDTH=80%>", $string2);
However I am having problems with the regular expression (regex). Please someone shed some light onthis.
