Session Problems In Netscape

Hi

I have a really wierd problem which is stopping any of my site working in netscape v4.6

When visitors come to my site a session is started by using the file method and storing the sessions in the default /tmp directory.

This works fine with IE. Two cookies are layed on my machine

The names of which are

PHPSESSID

ASPSESSIONIDQGQGGQQBF

If I use Netscape then only the cookie prefixed ASPSESSIONID is layed on my machine.

This does not make any sense. Why would php only try to lay one cookie when using Netscape?

Garghh, i've been through hell... and what i came up with is this:

Do not use any stylesheets on your formfields or perhaps it was my javascript browser detection thing, hmmm whatever, it's so f.... weird that i still dont get it, but try to remove them and see if it works 🙂 it did for me, and here i thought it was the php sessions or mysql, which it couldnt have been since it worked in ie, so...
