Question About Cookies

I've been trying to find the answer to this in the PHP manuals but haven't been able to find it. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places... 🙁

What I'm trying to do is find out if the browser that is reading a php script will accept coookies. I'm working on a shopping cart implementation that needs to know whether or not cookies have been enabled.

you can for example set a cookie, and next check if the value is set?

this might (i'm not sure about this one) need a forced reloading of the page...

mind, this is just a wild guess...

if you want to make absolutely sure, use url-coding of the var's ! that always works!
