How do i remove htmltags from textfields? If someone put a tag like H1 in a textfield it will f**k up my layout.

check out the strip_tags() function.

H1 is a sore format. I do not use it without adapting the font size. So I make sure my CSS takes care of that.
Consequently, I see no reason for removing any remaining tags.
