Can anyone please offer some suggestions as to the best way to back up a mySQL db? I have a db with about 60 tables and I\'m playing with fire not having them backed up regularly, but doing individual table dumps is obviously not very efficient. Any suggestions are appreciated. TIA.
if you have or if you want, then why not use phpMyAdmin ? its frontend database admin, and of course you can download it for free! from phpwizard.com
you can make a dump of whole database using that.
Use "MySQLDump DATABASE > DumpFile"
