We have got an intranet. the mail() function doesn't work. I think it's because i have to set sendmail in php.ini . But how do i have to do that because my mail server isn't the same as the www-server and smtp.jkz-rkz.nl doesn't work. Can i just put the ip-adres of the mail server at the smtp= in php.ini.
please help

is there no solution if you want to use mail on Win (95 or 98) ?
If OS is Win9x, you must use the SMTP to send mail, not sendmail. Find the nearest and fastest one (usually your ISP'). If in intranet, it's a good idea to setup a linux box as the SMTP agent.
There's a linux box and also a linux box as mail-server. Do i have to set up an smtp server on my www server?
