Could anyone please tell me why this...
$old_points="100"; $cur_points="50"; $new_points="$old_points + $cur_points"; echo "$new_points";
...returns "100 + 50" as opposed to returning "150"??
Not enclosing the operation in quotes did wonders. doh!
