Mail Attachments

Alright well ive looked at almost every web-based email script out there to see if its possible. Can you recieve attachments without using IMAP? all of the scritps i seen that do not use IMAP, none of them are able to accept attachments.

So many question is:

Can you view/accept attachments from emails without using IMAP? If yes, how?

Hi,
I am the lead programmer of the POP3 based webmail application called Postaci. It is able to fetch attachments. You can test it at http://webmail.onar.com.tr with the username & password : misafir

Well I was also searching for a way to fetch mails and decode MIME. I can say that it is possible but too much effort is needed. PHP provides IMAP/POP3/NNTP functions if it is compiled with the c-client libraries and they are so powerful that I couldn' t avoid using them.

Don' t need to reinvent the whell, simply use them 🙂

Alright i downloaded the script, could you point me in the right direction of where the actual recieving of the mail & attachments are at? Im very clueless of where to start.
