fwrite a function

I want to write some data from a mysql result to a txt file. Some of the text i want to write contains a function, and i get an error message that it is a unknown function. The thing is that i want the function to be writen to the file exactly as it is. (The script that will read the file later uses it)

How can i do this??

If you are writing data to a file, it is definately not parsed.
Can you give an example of your code and the text that gives you the error?

It looks like this:

fwrite($fp, "<TD valign=\"top\"><font face=\"Verdana, Arial, Helvetica\" size=\"1\"><A HREF=\"".ScreenURL("item")."&item=$ItemID\">$navn...</A></TD>\n\n");

ScreenURL is the function that has to be written to the file.

you need to quote the function and variable names; ie make them into string literals. encompassing the whole string in single quotes should do it..
