That didn't work for me. My problem is, I wanted to create a seatplan (for a LAN-Party) where is displayed who is still available via ping. So for every visitor of the LAN there must be exec'd a ping. This ping takes much time to detect that a client isn't reachable. While there are up to 180 visitors (clients) at the LAN this will take very much time to finish when the LAN steps to its end (and there are nearly no visitors anymore). I hope you understand what I mean. So while ping is running for every client the seatplan should be displayed already and the clients already pinged should be shown up red or green or whatever in realtime (after each ping for every single client has completed) if possible.
In short words:
- display seatplan
- ping client 1
- is available?
-- yes display green dot (don't wait for few pings done)
-- no display red dot
- ping client 2
- is available?
-- yes ...... and so on
