PHP 4.02 + win32 + sessions

I call session_destroy to log the user out and I get -
Warning: Session object destruction failed in "c:....."

how can I end the session?

I make that call after I start the session on the page in question, and I've tried both unregistering all session variables before the destroy, or leaving them be, to no avail. please help! thanks

I have this problem on 4.0.2 also.. when I downgraded to 4.0.1pl2 the problem vanished. Sadly the session didn't.
