ODBC connection

Hi All,

I tried to use odbc_connect in my php script, but I got an error as follow: "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: odbc_connect() in /path/to/my/script/test.php4 on line 3"

Would somebody let me know what I am missing?

Xi,

Could you possibly provide a portion of your code, as this would make it far easier to figure out. I have used odbc_connect() with much success, but mileage varies between platforms, etc. Also, when posting trouble, it is often helpful to provide as much information as possible about the configuration you're running under.

For example,

• Platform/OS (e.g., Red Hat Linux v6.2, MS Windows NT 4 SP 5, etc.)
  Webserver (e.g., Apache v1.3.12, MS IIS4, etc.)
  version of PHP (e.g., v4.0.2)
  database used (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS Access, etc.)
  offending portion of code as mentioned above

Also, any other relevant information, such as whether you control the webserver or are you just a user, dependent on what the sysadmin configures for you...things like that.

The more information you provide, the easier it will be for someone on the forum to help you.
