How much memory am I using ... ?

Hello again,

I have an application where I am currently testing how long it takes to generate my dynamic page on the server.

I now wish to know how much server memory I am using as I generate each page ... can anyone give me directions ... ?

I am using PHP3.

I checked the PHP manual and I cannot find top or ps -1 ...

can you xplain ...

they're unix shell commands. i suppose it's my bad for assuming you're on unix. IIRC there are versions of both top and ps for windows; but i don't know where you'd go about finding them.

Actually, we are using Linux, although my OS skills are rather "my bad" ...

I was looking to send the information on memory usage to the browser ... just as I have an output telling me how much time was spent by the server generating the page ...
