Does HTTP_REFERER work only when all the referring and referred files are placed on the same server/folder? If not, tell me a way so that when I follow a link in a file on my machine which points to the required file on the server, HTTP_REFERER should give me the address of my local machine where the requesting file is stored.
It's the name of the HREF (link) which referred you. <G>
In english, if you were on porn site A, and clicked a link to porn site B, (with the bigger breasts) the HTTP_REFERER would be the webpage on Porn Site A.
