Here's a question for the session gurus out there...

Those who know and love AOL are aware that they constantly change the IP addresses they assign to their users. Now, I know that sessions are tracked via cookies on the user's browser. My question is this: will the PHP session stay active if the IP address changes?

Yes they should. Cookies are stored as temp files on the server and into the cookie file on the user's computer. The ip address is not used at all for this matter. I use a dialup connection with dynamic ip assignment an Amazon keeps greeting me every time I go back 🙂.
