Problems with strings... help please

hi there

i'm building a php script that edit a record from a DB.

my problem is when i save the changes including "empty spaces" or null in the string... the script save them
but when i try of pull them from DB, the script shows me a truncated string exactly where start the null.....

anyone can help me?
