Navagation System! using cookies

Hi, k before you begin reading let me explain the idea. The idea is you have a start page with 2 options one is a graphical interface the other is a plain interface .. you know so people with different internet speeds could choose. and if they choose an option it forwards them to that page. and since it uses cookies as soon as the main page loads it forwards them to the page that they choose earlier

can anyone make ...or at least start me off with some code? whom ever codes it .. should use it for them selves too 🙂 it's a good Idea I think.

It's good but I see a slight flaw. Most casual surfers out there don't even know what cookies are or how to delete them for that matter. What if people cometo your site and accidentally or on purpose click the text version. Then say they realize it later on or upgrade their modems, how will they evere see the graphic side?

He could have a link somewhere on all his pages that lets the user choose. For example: whatever.com/main.php3?layout=graphic or whatever.com/main.php3?layout=text.

They..can just click on a link that brings them back to the choosing page..where they can just update the cookie.
