Refresh 2 frames

Hey

how do i refresh 2 frames with out doing anything.

ok some more info i have a site divide in 2
frames, a "menu" and a "main" frame, when the visitor, comes to certien page in the main frame, some checking is done and if ok i would like to refresh the menu frame(some other stuff will be there if ok), how can i do this?.

do just say java, i know it can be done with java just not how 🙂
