major help needed

OK, I need some serious help. I'm trying to make a counter using PHP 3.0.12 that can be called from other websites by the <IMG SRC=""> tag. I know about the image commands in PHP but none of them work on my server. I'm remotely hosted so I have no control over it. I can't seem to figgure anything out so I'm really in need of some help!!

Are you sure that thay have the gd-libary installed?

could you put the image script on a different server? failing that, does you server have perl w GD?

otherwise, change servers. that's all there is to it. it they don't have GDlib and you can't get them to install it, then there's nothing you can do.
