non text email

i'm writing a small e-commerce apps that send emails to users to confirmed their purchases and what items they bought. and i'm limited to sending only text email. what could i do so i could send email other than just plain text? i'm using the mail function.

You can send HTML e-mail this way:

mail("$name <$email>","Your order!",
"Text and <font size=+1>HTML</font> - whatever you want",
"From: Harm Verhoeven <[e-mail]> \nContent-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1");

That should do the job.
