C++ "mod" in PHP?

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a PHP equivalent of the "mod" (%) function in PHP. (finding a remainder between two integers when one is divided by the other)

Also, is there any way to save the contents of a MySQL database table into a text file or other type of file that could be moved into a MySQL database on another server?

First question: Yes. See the manual page on arithmetic operators. $remainder = $a % $b, just like in C.

Second question: Yes. It's in the MySQL manual under "Dumping the structure and data from MySQL databases and tables" ... and there's a utility for doing it, mysqldump. It produces sql for recreating your schema and data. Good for backups, too.
