I am designing one bulletin board with php3 and mysql. I have a form where the user can create a new thread. The problem here is in IE, i am not able to see the new subject that has been entered immedialtely. After the session is over or the user logs out and comes back once again the new topic is listed. I do not have any problems with Netsacpe. I use the tag <meta HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" CONTENT="no-cache"> to avoid the references from cache.. Why does this happen. Help me with a solution..
Try adding this to the top of your php script (with the usual caveat about BEFORE any html) ...
header("Cache-control: no-cache"); header("Expires: Wed, 15 Nov 1995 01:00:00 GMT");
See if that clears it up.
