Hi, I'm getting interested in trying to send sms messages to mobile phones. I don't really know how to do it, does anyone here have any pointers or ideas?

Hi, the only thing that I sort of found out was that you need to use an SMS gateway to send the messages. You'll have to install it on your machine though ;-(

check out www.simplewire.com, they have a PHP software development kit that allows you to send SMS from linux, and an activex object that allows you to send SMS from windows (PHP4).

So what do I use, all different things here, I dont know what to use, the PHP with from simplewire? the book???
The simplewire is offer a sms develop kit. u just need to add/configure to ur php/apache, then u can use it. unfortunaly, u need to pay the money for the message. so it was hard to for testing.
