using GD without admin privileges

If got a problem with my provider. He installed PHP but he don't like to add the gdlib and pdflib... as standard.

How can i install and use this libs with my account (unix)?

Do I have to use an include path or such a thing?

I believe you can't...unless there is a sort of odd reverse engineering method available I'm not aware of.

As to install the gd library it requires an entry in the php.ini file, and a whole recompiling of PHP itself, I believe your only hope is getting him to install it, or switch providers...
