Has any one tried and seen any speed benefits from putting a commonly accessed database, or their tempory session files on a ram disk?
We have a table that has alot of select/insert/update commands done on it. The tables are from 10k to only 30mb.
We use session's and all the data in the sessions is constantly being updated and chaged, the session files are small, I dont think Ive ever seen them about 2k each.
