cant select mysql_db

Hi,

I created a new database in mysql server and named it "abc", when i tried to select this db through php3/4 it shows and error and dies. Actually at the mean time when I select the built-in database "test" it does NOT shows error!! I have even created tables, etc etc like stuff. But still failed 🙁

Right now i am continueing my work by creating tables in "test" :<

Sounds like a mysql permissions problem. Be sure you are passing appropriate values for username and password to mysql_connect() for the database that you created.
