A quick question my boss has asked me, if i have a drop down menu and it's populated by a mysql database, with the php code i can filter the items so that if you typed 'e' then it will take you to the first items begining with that letter, however you can't continue to type and put 'ef' as when you click 'f' it takes you to the first items beginning with f. Is there any code that lets you do this so that if i was looking for effects then i'd type 'eff' and it would bring up effects. I hope theres someone that can help, thanks

Accually yhe fact that when you type 'e' and the menu forwards to the 'e' section is accually a browser feature, nothing todo with php / mysql / or your boss, hehe.

As far as I know there is no javascript code that would be able todo what you are looking for. I can garauntee there is no php code todo this. PHP is server side, not client side.

If anyone has anyother solutions, please let them prove me wrong.
