This one should be an easy one ...

I try to write the content of my input-form to a file. However, the script doesn't want to create a new file.

I suppose it all has to do with the privileges of my directory? What should the privileges be, and how can I change them in the script?

How can I make sure the privileges of the textfile are correct?

You have to make the permissions of the directory where you want PHP to create files as 777. You have to do it outside of the script because the user that PHP runs as doesn't have permissions to do it. That should allow you to create files from within PHP.
