How come this don't work?
mysql> select "[0-9]{1,2}/[0-9]{1,2}-[0-9]{4}$" REGEXP "01/02-1974";
Any help is appriciated!
Reverse the operands, the pattern comes after the original string:
mysql> select "01-02/1974" REGEXP "[0-9]{1,2}/[0-9]{1,2}-[0-9]{4}$";
This will return "1", indicating the pattern matches...
