session.save_path

Hey,

I have a problem with the session.save_path. I always get this error:

Warning: open(/tmp\sess_90a6c4f6d0ce3f46411981ba8bcad422, O_RDWR) failed: m (13) in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0

In the php.ini session.save_path is set to /tmp. But where must that directory be? I'm using II5.0 on windows 2000 professional.

I have the same problem .. I'm using PHP4.0.3 on a WinME box ...

Any suggestions?

PS php.ini is the same as above ..

I just found the solution! Instead of using a virtual path (\tmp) use a physical path.

For example change
session.save_path = \tmp to
session.save_path = c:\tmp
in the php.ini file.

Make sure to set the right security settings for this folder!
