Retrieving IP address

Hi all.

I am using PHP4 on Linux. I am accessing the server through a different proxy server. By using $REMOTE_ADDR function, i am getting IP address of my proxy sever. Does anybody know how to get the IP address of the machine bypassing proxy server.

It really wouldn't matter if you could grab the IP address of the specific machine, as no one is able to access that address via the internet anyway. The address, probably something like 192.168.0.[0-255], only relates to your local ethernet.

To answer your question more directly, no I don't believe there is a way.
