I got the upload stuff to work pretty much first time through. I was wondering if anybody knows how I can either restrict or at least have as default the file type *.gif in the browse files to upload dir box. Currently it defualts to html files not gif's so a user uploading something on my site would have to know to switch the file type to gif. Now that may seem like a no brainer to you and me but to the non-internet, non-computer savy bulk of the people I might get as visitors on my site it could be a big hurdle. I could try to instruct them in changing the file spec. but think it would be easier to have it show gif's by default. Thanks in advance you all.
