Using C functions in PHP

I have some functions which have been compiled using C language. Is there anyway in which i can embed these functions in PHP and use them without having to re-code the entire thing using PHP all over again?? Somebody please respond bien tot.

Do you mean "can I run compiled C programs from PHP"
or
"can I use C code in PHP"?

The question "Can I run compiled C programs?" is not
different than the question "Can I run external programs?"
since one a program is compiled into an executable, the
question of which language its source code was written
in is fairly irrelevant.

Have you looked at the Program Executation Functions
section of the manual? Several alternatives there,
together with back-quotes `` which work pretty much
as they do in the shell.
